WORKSHOP TESTIMONIALS:
"Jared takes a no-fluff approach to teaching photography. His lectures are packed full of useful content that will help you streamline your workflow and become a more efficient and savvy business owner. And as a bonus he has a very handsome bald head from which all the world's knowledge is derived." - Melissa Jill
Finally, after 3 years of constantly being behind, I actually had 2 weeks of no weddings to edit! It was an amazing and awesome feeling. I hugely credit Jared Platt and the one day workshop I did in Atlanta in November. - Regina Holder
"We learned more in one day from Jared than we have learned in the last few years of classes and workshops put together." - Lynn Korf
ABOUT JARED PLATT
I am a professional wedding and portrait photographer from Phoenix, Arizona. I hold a Masters of Fine Arts in the Photographic Studies and a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Photography from Arizona State University. I teach photography at the college level and to professionals everywhere. My portfolio can be seen at www.plattphotography.com.
I was raised in a small town in northern Arizona where I took my first photographs at the age of seventeen. I fell in love with photography immediately and pursued the art from that day on. I have never done anything else. It's like I have never had a real job. I am blessed to labor at something I love. I have so much passion and excitement for the subject that it can't help but spills out into my photography. This passion is why I lecture and teach on the subject of photography at conferences and in small workshops and seminars. My audiences are made up of students, professionals and serious amateurs all over the world. My most recent lecture was given in Hong Kong at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
